What did you do this past week?

I’ve been working on the Deque project in the past week. I also finishing up the last phrase for our project and prepare for the presentation in another class. It has been a chill week with school and volleyball.

What’s in your way?

Even though I spent a lot of time working on Deque, It seems so complicated and tedious for me to say. I still haven’t finished it yet but I still turn in what I got before the deadline.

What will you do next week?

Hopefully, the next project would be a little fewer works than this week's project. I will also have another group project to present and we haven’t worked on that yet. I planning to go on a trip to Houston next weekend if there’s not much I have to do.

If you read it, what did you think of Paper #7: What Happens to Us?

This week's paper is really eye-opening for me to say at least. I think that sometimes people may get to lead on the technical aspect of this field and forget how to treat people properly. We need people more people like her to stand up for what is right and it would be better if someone can correct those wrong behavior right at the spot.

What was your experience of vector, allocator, and deque?

After reading the implementation of the vector many times, I have a good understanding of the allocator and why do we need it. However, implementing deque is a different story and I definitely need more time and helps in order to get it done.

What made you happy this week?

I got to play a lot of volleyball this week. Even though I missed out on a couple of occasions to hang out with friends because of school, I don’t regret it because I’m glad I got things done.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip for this week is don’t forget to take a break after every long study/coding session. I recently got back into pokemon go because my friend nags me, I feel like it is a great way to go outside and refresh yourself when you got stuck and feeling burnout.

Thank for reading!
