1. What did you do this past week?

This week had been relatively easy for me, I don’t have a lot of things due to do since I already finish Project 1 last week. I spent a lot of time playing and TA for volleyball classes. Other than that, I also hang out with friends and explore around campus.

2. What’s in your way?

So far I think I can keep up with the works load of all classes. However, this could change in any week since school works can stack up quickly.

3. What will you do next week?

I planning on keeping doing the same thing for this class, preparing before the quiz, doing a paper, blog, and starting on a new project as soon as I can. I also plan to do a medium Leetcode problem every day instead of an easy one. I still have a lot of trouble with it so my plan is I will spend at least 30m to work on a problem and if I can’t figure it out I will look up the work through the solution.

4. What did you think of Paper #4: Pair Programming?

The paper sounds very interesting in theory, though I never had the experience to work for a real company so I don’t know what it turns out. I did have a couple of pair programming projects and even though we have trouble figuring things out at first, it works out better than working alone in the long run. I think that I can go faster working by myself but pair programming can push me further.

5. What was your experience of exceptions and StrCmp?

It is really interesting to learn about how exceptions actually work especially with multiple exceptions. The pointer is always a hard topic for me but thanks to the exercise for StrCmp I think I understand it a little bit better now.

6. What made you happy this week?

I think that things going according to plan this week make me happy. I also have the first win with my IM volleyball team so that makes me extra happy.

7. What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip of the week for this week will be the Handshake website. I think it is a great way to get an internship or full-time job and it's really exclusive for students. I got a lot of people reaching out to me for 1-on-1 conversations and you can’t really have that on other websites.

Thank you for reading!
